The Six Word Challenge

Some years ago, in fact many years ago, Ernest Hemingway was challenged to write a story in a mere six words. Impossible? Well apparently not! Hemingway wrote :

"For sale. Baby shoes. Never worn."

I don't know about you, but those six words are very evocative, and conjure up a whole gamete of thoughts and pictures. Yes, it truly is a story.

A Wall Street Columnist, once told President Kennedy that "a great man is one sentence", and wrote that Abraham Lincoln's life could be stated as "He preserved the Union and freed the slaves." So how about business leaders, can we sum up in six words what we are, what we aspire to, how we would want to be remembered? Give it a may learn something.

One of mine : "Inspire people to deliver their potential"

Life is not a rehearsal, live!

Geoff, I like that one, and how true.

I guess one of the supermarkets has picked up on the "life" theme............."Spend a little, live a lot".
