Neil Woodford, one of the UK's most successful fund managers has warned over the Eurozone. He believes the concept is "fundamentally flawed", and that the "stresses and strains" that have been seen in recent years will continue, and probably increase! In an interview with the BBC he made the comment that "in a very simple sense, pretending that Greece was Germany is a fundamental error". That of course is the basic argument that many of us have made. How can two very different economies thrive under a single fiscal policy. Personally I cannot answer that question, with out bringing in the concept of having a federal Europe: and is that going to happen any time soon?

However, there is some positive news, Italy is doing better, and Eire and Spain are turning around. Sadly the same is not yet true of France!
