Some Good News for UK Car Manufacturing

After at least a year of bad news for the UK car industry, today brings some much needed relief. BMW have announced that two new models of the Mini are to be made at Cowley near Oxford. Although production will not start for nearly a year, it will create up to 1,000 new jobs, and comes along at a time when most of the 850 workers made redundant at the start of 2009 have been rehired. A big cheer for that!

One of the cars is likely to be a coupe, and may be similar to the following...........................
